介绍自己
大家好，我的中文名字是“布赖恩”（Google 告诉了我布赖恩跟Brian听起来一样）。因为“布赖恩”太长了，你们叫我“大布”，好吧？我二〇一八来了温哥华，然后我开工UBC二〇一九年了。我有很多美梦，一个美梦住在温哥华，现在这是真的！
我的工作在UBC。我的UBC的办公司帮助每大学生都。
为什么上中文课？
我想要学习中文除了因为帮助UBC学生以外，还想去明年中国旅游。我觉得中国跟花一样，中国人两百年去过在地球每国都。那么，如果我没去中国，我还会用汉语说话和聊天儿。也。。。高考以后，加拿大和美国的大学问中国人: “来这里！你们不需要高考在我们的大学！“ 所以很多大学生说中文。 如果我说中文，我帮助一些大学生越来越好。
在学中文的过程(process)中，有没有什么有意思或是好笑的故事
好的，一个次我三前年坐天车。我用汉字卡学习在天车。我的旁边坐了中国女人。她开聊天儿我！她不说英文，只中文。她用我卡给我一个中文课！因为她说得很快，所以我明白只一些生词。我说她：”那个，那么，所以，所以。。。我不知道你的意思， 请慢一点儿“ 这个女人很聪， 我说谢谢您老师！ 我爱温哥华。
在学中文的过程(process)中，什么对你来说最难？你打算怎么进步？
我觉得听中文是非常最难。 我而且可以打字汉字，虽然每天我的说中文越来越好。但是我时候听中国人朋友和老师，太快了（还是我太慢了）。我每天都听中文Podcast，我最喜欢“新闻懒人包”。我听了以后,我会写一些生词，然后在Google Translate or Pleco找些生词。
Please name at least one thing that you really want to improve over the term.
- The most important improvement I want is my listening skill in Chinese language. This is my worst skill (compared to writing, reading, speaking), and I always feel completely lost when listening to native speakers and friends.
Next, make a doable plan for overcoming them. Laoshi hope we can celebrate your achievements at the end of the semester.
- At this point all I can think of is a brute-force approach. That is, immersing myself in Chinese language news, audiobooks, youtube videos, ads, etc. etc., on a daily basis at bedtime, at wake, and when possible during the day. Planning a weekly "write-down" of new words from such listening will help me learn new vocabulary. This may not be the best approach, I still can't think of a good outcome metric so I know I've made gains. Any suggestions would be much appreciated :)
