大家好！我叫Natassia。我的中文名字是黄嘉慧。我十八岁。这是我的大学二年。我学商业在Sauder。我是加拿大华人但是我只住在温哥华。
我要上中文课因为我想说中文。我是加拿大人但是我不会说中文或者广东话。当别人说中文跟我，我听不懂t阿门说的话。我也中学学的中文但是我觉得我汉语不太好。不过，我很紧张说中文喝上中文课因为我两年左右没说中文。我很怕我忘记了很多。
At the end of this semester, I hope that I am more confident in being able to speak Mandarin with other Mandarin speakers and hold a conversation comfortably.
当中学的时候，我的老师写着我的名字错。他写着我的名字是Natassia Wang，但是我姓Wong 因为黄和王听有样的声音。上课的时候，他说对不起和他认为我姓国王的王， 不是黄色的黄。我的同学觉得我姓字的意思很好笑。
I think the hardest part about learning Mandarin for me is speaking and putting together sentences quickly. I often find that I panic and need to pause mid-sentence to search for the translation of the word I’m trying to say or feel like I don’t have a wide enough vocabulary to communicate my thoughts. I think reviewing vocabulary and common sentence structures and practicing contributing in class or during Oral Practice tutorials will really help in gaining some confidence in this area.
