我与我的学习计划

 大家好！我叫 佐藤由奈。我是二十岁的日本人。我是留学生。在UBC我是三年级的学生，不过在日本，是两年级的学生。我打算留加拿大学习人文学 (Anthropology)。不但学习，而且我想接触很多人。我喜欢看韩国的电视，又喜欢听KPOP。我常常跟我妈妈一起去音乐会。

因为在日本我学了一年汉语，所以在这儿上中文课。我希望提高汉语水平。

Since there are lots of students who speak Chinese at UBC, I'd like to be friends with such students by communicating in Chinese. I really like Chinese food, so my goal is to be taught the recipe of Chinese cuisine by friends. (of course, using Chinese!)

The funny or a little embarrassing thing I have experienced while I study Chinese is my pronunciation error. When I studied Chinese in Japan, my teacher let me pronounce "出租车" (chu1 zu1 che1). But I couldn't pronounce the word properly because each sound of this word is basically very hard for Japanese. Then my teacher reacted "Oh, you can't get a taxi in China...". So, I'll keep practicing "出租车" and want to get a taxi in China successfully in the future 😂

Because I'm Japanese, I recognize most Chinese characters and I can read short passages.

Yet it's so hard for me to understand what speakers say. So I'd like to focus on my listening skill this term by listening to Chinese podcasts, for example. I'll work hard to catch up with the native speed.
