这个学期我学习学了什么？

In class, I had a lot of time to speak
Mandarin with other students, so my speaking improved a lot. I feel awkward
when I speak Mandarin because I have difficulty when with pinyin, but I could
check my pinyin by listening to other people's pronunciation and Pinyin. I also
tried using the words and grammar I learned in class with my friends. My
friends, who are Mandarin speakers, pointed out the problem of my pinyin and
helped me with my pronunciation. With the help of my friends, I ordered food in
Mandarin at a Chinese restaurant. Having the opportunity to talk in Mandarin in
class and daily life, I became more confident in speaking Mandarin and was able
to communicate more accurately than before. However, pronunciations like zh and
z, sh and x are still difficult for me. I asked my friends how to pronounce them
and studied on the internet how to pronounce them, but I have not been able to
pronounce and distinguish them accurately yet. As for reading, it took a lot of
time to read other people's writings on the course blog at first, but now I can
read them faster. In fact, the intercultural articles on the course blog were
interesting to read. There are some sentences that I still do not understand
perfectly, but I can grasp the context by finding the words and grammar I know.
Mandarin writing is one of the most difficult things for me because I do not
know many Mandarin words and grammar and I have limitations in expressing with
the few words. I learned new words and expressions by reading other students'
writings, which helped me improve my writing. Overall, I felt that the contents
of the CHIN 331 were more difficult than previous courses and I thought I
should spend more time to study.
2.
It was an interesting experience to
participate in the mandarin singing contest this semester. While listening and
memorizing the song for the contest, I learned new words from the lyrics and
was able to speak Mandarin quickly. 虽然我很紧张 但这是一次有趣的经历。
3.
我要多练习中文发音。因为是，我的中国朋友，有的时候听懂我的说话，有的时候不懂我说什么。我希望去中国旅行，所以我得多练习说中文。
